Delivery and Returns


Delivery can be to any address as long the address at which your payment card is registered is also present on your order.  Please make sure you keep the receipt enclosed with your goods.

The majority of our items are sent by post and many are small enough to be put through your letterbox so do not require a signature.  However, some of our bespoke items and corporate orders will be sent out by next day courier and will require a signature.  We will let you know if this appplies to your order.

Delivery on our individual house numbers and plaques is priced according to their weight.  When you add products to your Shopping Basket, the appropriate delivery charge will be added automatically. You will always be able to see this charge before submitting your order.

All delivery timescales are subject to product and delivery slot availability.

Most parcels will be delivered via Royal Mail. Delivery is first class subject to availability. However, delivery may take up to five working days.We do not deliver to Post Office (P.O.) boxes or shipping agent addresses.

Delivery will be between the hours of 7am and 6pm; we are unable to confirm a time. Housenumbers Ltd. will select the most appropriate carrier for your goods. This means your delivery may arrive in more than one batch to ensure your order is transported in the best possible way.

Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep to any delivery date, time of delivery shall not be of the essence and Housenumbers Ltd. shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date. The risk in the goods shall pass from the company to the customer upon delivery of such goods to the customer. 

Postage

You will only pay one delivery charge per order, which will be the highest depending on the contents of your order. When you have added items to your shopping basket, the standard delivery charge for those products will be automatically applied to your order.  

Force Majeure

Housenumbers Ltd. shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

Returns

We always try to ensure that our products are of a high quality and provide good value for money.  If, however, your purchase does not meet your expectations in any way simply return the item to us unused and in its original condition within 30 days of receipt and we will either exchange it or refund your money.  Please note that this returns guarantee does not affect your statutory rights for returned goods under the European Directive on Consumer Rights. The returned goods must be in a resalable state and any goods or accessories that accompany the returned product must also come back to us. The goods should also be returned with their original box, packing and accessories.  Stainless steel surfaces will abrade eachother so items must be wrapped to avoid scratching.  Refunds can only be made if items are returned in a resalable state.

When returning goods, please indicate whether you wish to receive an alternative item or a refund.  All goods should be sent to:

We strongly recommend that you return any items by registered mail or obtain a proof of postage.  This is particularly important when returning valuable items as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.  Return of goods is at the customer’s own expense.

Please note that Housenumbers Ltd. cannot accept the return of house name plates and some number plates as these have been made to the customer's specification and been approved during the design process. We would only accept a return in the very unusual case of a quality issue.  Please contact us if you have any queries.

If the return is due to missing or faulty parts then we will offer a full refund or replacement provided we are aware of this within 10 working days. Any refund, which is due to a fault or other defect, will include a refund of the applicable delivery charge.This returns policy does not affect your legal rights. 

Cancellation of Orders

You are able to cancel your order prior to shipping with no cost penalty being incurred and full credit of your account if monies have already been taken. You can cancel an order by contacting us by e-mail or by phoning us on 01258452826.
